Express personalisation starts with the handover date

For an exhibition, gifts need to arrive before the stand is set up. For new starters, they may need sorting and preparing before the first day. The event date and the required delivery date are therefore not always the same. Allowing for that interval helps shape an Express personalisation enquiry around the work your team needs to do.

Establish what cannot change

Separate essential requirements from preferences: the receipt date, location, number of recipients, a required colour or an indispensable format. Then explain which alternatives you could accept. If a product cannot fit the schedule, that flexibility allows another option to be considered without starting the project again.

For Express clothing, sizes and colours belong in the initial enquiry: an overall quantity does not describe the individual garments needed. For Express bags, start with what will be handed out inside them. A change of format may affect every other item in the kit.

Allow time for decisions as well as production

A usable logo file and someone available to approve the artwork proof help prevent the project sitting on hold once the design is ready. Bring together internal feedback before that approval. If you are combining several products, identify which are essential for the handover; their availability and branding requirements may differ.

A product’s inclusion in the Express selection is not a delivery confirmation. Stock, personalisation, artwork approval and transport all need to support the date agreed for your enquiry. You choose the products; Today Merch assesses how the project can be delivered within those requirements. Share your deadline and priorities to have the feasibility of your Express project assessed.
